HVAC Agent

Trust and marketplace boundaries

HVAC Agent Trust, Security, and Privacy Overview

HVAC Agent qualifies homeowner service requests, matches them to verified local HVAC companies, and limits contact disclosure until one contractor purchases exclusive access.

What the marketplace handles

The platform records a service request, keeps homeowner contact details encrypted, creates a privacy-safe preview, checks contractor eligibility and real geographic distance, and sends matching offers through controlled email delivery.

What remains human

Contractors remain responsible for diagnosis, pricing, emergency response, scheduling, permits, licensing, customer communication, and the HVAC work itself.

Contractor location and contact privacy

The public contractor form asks for one business email and, with browser permission, a high-accuracy device location. State, county, GPS accuracy, and an initial service radius are recorded for review. No offers are sent while the location or company remains unverified.

No Supabase runtime dependency

Marketplace records are stored in the project PostgreSQL database. Sensitive marketplace fields use application-level encryption and keyed fingerprints, and encrypted PostgreSQL backups are prepared for the corporate Google Drive recovery path.

FAQ

Does HVAC Agent expose homeowner contact details in a lead preview?

No. The preview is designed to omit the homeowner name, phone, email, and exact address until one eligible contractor completes the one-time purchase.

Can an unverified signup receive lead offers?

No. The contractor, contact channel, and service location must pass the required verification and eligibility gates before delivery.
